Shoe of the week: it's red!

Continuing on the topic of red shoes - these sandals are my favourites this week. They're red, they're beautiful and they have a superhigh stiletto heel. What better way to cheer yourself up after a long winter?

Lanvin: red'n glamorous

Every now and then, Lanvin comes up with a truly fantastic pair of shoes. Like these red silk slingbacks, for example. I totally agree that every gilr should have at least one pair of red shoes (sandals, flats, boots etc)  in her wardrobe but mine already has much more than one in it so with these I'm just windowshopping (sigh).

And of course, I want them (although I'm doing my best to ignore this feeling). But they're soooo cool!

Rain boots: part 2

Saw these at ideeli today (http://www.ideeli.com/) . Seems like Dav is getting very popular. By the way, my rain boots have arrived and they're fantastic, even much better than on the picture!

It's getting warmer every day and now you can defintely feel spring coming. It's in the air! However, that same air might be rather cold sometimes so it's better layering up when venturing outside. Well, at least if you're planning to go further than around the block with your dog (the dog at the back: aren't you done taking those pictures yet?)

Also, I got to wear my favourite Gianni Barbato lace-up boots again. They have this clear medieval look and give every outfit a funky twist. Love'em! Oh, and I almost forgot the golden chain that I got about a year ago and try to wear every time I have even a slightest chance: it usually brings the funkiness of an outfit to the desired 100%.

Spring is in the air!

Good thing that I found my faux mink coat - it's getting warmer outside and  a long puffer coat can finally be put into the closet. And hopefully, it'll stay there for at least a few days. I wanna spring now!

Rain boots: coming soon

Just a little brush up on recent history. About a month ago, I ordered these at Gilt and haven't heard from them ever since.

I almost gave up on it but apparently, this spring fancy rain boots are going to be a big hit in Manhattan - everybody is wearing them, its' crazy! So I decided that I shouldn't lack behind and wrote to Gilt asking wassup? An automated message assured me that very soon, a real human being would get in touch and guess what? Just short three days later, he or rather she did! En bref, the letter said we appreciate... we apologize... will send out your damn boots soon. Very soon.
So it's either that or I already lined up a few other pairs that I might buy - in case very soon does not happen this spring. It actually gives me some hope that soon I will stop jumping across snowy puddles in my winter boots cursing loudly and probably looking like a yeti on vacation.
