Friday night out

These shoes are also new old, bought about five(!) years ago at Zappos. They come very close in color to the purple elements (or whatever they're called) of the dress so I just couldn't resist weearing the whole ensemble from the house to the party location but of course, I had to carry an extra pair of flats - just in case. And that was probably one of the wisest decisions I've ever made in my life (those shoes pinch!!!)

Easter bunny

I saw this 60s-style hat at Daffy's (a New York-based outlet/retail store) about a year ago, together with some other stuff, of course - you just can't walk out of that store empty-handed, not unless you have a titanium-strength willpower. I have to say that in terms of fashion, 1960s are among my absolute favourite time periods and in my wardrobe, I have a few pieces that are either 1960s-inspired or date back to those times.
This hat, however, has been sitting in my closet for quite a while before I had a chance to wear it but ever since I have been wearing it quite often. Like, of example, today when we were invited to an Easter lunch over to some friends'.
Babay who was far more interested in lunch reluctantly agreed to pose with me.

It's spring!

We had another truly spring day - nice, warm and very sunny! Of course, I couldn't miss on the opportunity to wear something that has been sitting in my closet fo what seems like ages waiting for the weather to change. I'm just sooo tired of puff coats and winter boots! I wanna wear heels, mega-minis and forget the phrase "bundle up" - at least for the next half a year or so.

Soon, everything around is gonna be like that - nice and green!

Say... the opposite of "cheese"
